Jujutsu Kaisen is a supernatural action anime set in a world where negative human emotions create monstrous beings called Curses, which threaten humanity. The story follows Yuji Itadori, a kind-hearted high school student with extraordinary physical strength who lives an ordinary life — until he encounters a powerful Curse.
To save his friends, Yuji swallows a cursed object: a rotting finger belonging to Ryomen Sukuna, the most feared and powerful Curse in history. By doing so, Yuji becomes Sukuna’s unwilling host, gaining immense power but also risking execution by the sorcerers sworn to destroy Sukuna.
Instead of killing him immediately, the powerful sorcerer and teacher Satoru Gojo convinces the Tokyo Jujutsu High to let Yuji live — at least until he consumes all of Sukuna’s fingers, so Sukuna can be completely destroyed once and for all. Yuji enrolls in the school, where he trains alongside fellow students Megumi Fushiguro, a stoic and talented sorcerer, and Nobara Kugisaki, a fearless and brash young woman.
